How to Give



When you give to United Way of Baytown Area, you have a choice. You can give an undesignated gift to our General Fund which is used to fund programs and services that work on our community's most critical issues. You can designate our targeted impact area, Improving Educational Achievement, (children of qualifying families in our Baytown area communities will start kindergarten school ready). You can designate a United Way funded agency or program. The choice is yours.

You can also choose how you give:


  • You can give through payroll deduction in your workplace campaign. United Way of Baytown Area enjoys a strong relationship with many employers in our community. If you do not know if your company offers a payroll deduction program or if you would like to talk to us about setting up a program where you work, call us at 281-424-5922.
  • You can mail in a pledge card. Print out the convenient pledge form, fill it out, and mail it, along with your contribution to United Way of Baytown Area at P.O. Box 425, Baytown, Texas 77522-0425.
  • You can give a gift of appreciated securities. Giving long-term (owned more than one year), appreciated securities may provide greater benefits to you and United Way. For more information and a cost calculator, go to www.liveunited.org/stock.
